See below for dates.

For fall 2026, Neural Education’s featured book is:

Beyond Behaviors

In Beyond Behaviors, Mona Delahooke invites educators to reimagine behavior through the lens of the brain-body connection. Grounded in neuroscience and developmental science, this collaborative book study explores how emotional and relational safety create the conditions for regulation, engagement, and learning.

Together, we'll connect Delahooke's research with current educational neuroscience, reflect on classroom practice, and apply neuroscience-informed strategies that strengthen relationships and create learning environments where every learner can thrive.

Participants will:

  • Examine behavior through a neuroscience-informed lens.

  • Explore the role of the autonomic nervous system in behavior, learning, and relationships.

  • Recognize why emotional and relational safety are foundational for regulation and learning.

  • Apply neuroscience-informed strategies that prioritize emotional and relational safety.

  • Design learning environments that foster emotional and relational safety, regulation, and learning.
